The Government recently announced an extension for MOT Tests that are due after 30th March 2020. Cars, vans and motorcycles are eligible for a 6 month extension, however, you must ensure your vehicle or bike is roadworthy during this extension otherwise you can be fined up to £2,500, face a driving ban and 3 penalty points if you are found to be driving a vehicle that is in a dangerous condition.
Although deemed an "essential business" by the government, the extension of all MOT's by 6 months and lack of car sales has hit our business very hard. Many people are correctly abiding by the strict rules of lockdown by staying at home and are not using their cars.
