As classic car enthusiasts we have a lot to look forward to this month! Goodwood Revival is nearly upon us, spoiling us once again with a spectacular vintage event as well as the Classic Car Show on 25th September at West Green House in Hartley Wintney, which we are proudly sponsoring.
The British Summer Getaway is sadly now associated with traffic delays and frustration. We have all seen (and perhaps experienced personally) the long, long delays at Dover this year – 15 miles of tailbacks with some travellers being forced to wait for 15 hours before being able to board the ferry. The unprecedented levels of chaos this time was blamed on the increased security checks at Calais, but each year Kent and many other main routes across the UK have us grid-locked in our cars with nowhere to go.

Don’t get stung! Ensure you check you are buying from a reputable dealer and do your homework! Check price guides and compare similar makes and models of the car you are interested in. Also ask about the service history and ask to see previous MOT certificates, service records and any repair bills.
